2 More Days!!!

I just have to make it 48 more hours, 3 more tests to go, and I will be officially on Spring Break!!! I am so excited!! As you can imagine, this week has been eventful, as far as school goes. Not so much my life. Anyway. So Monday. I had a biology test. Let's just keep in mind that on my first test I made a less than desirable grade. So it was high time for me to step it up! Well Sunday, when it was so so pretty outside, while everyone was taking walks, sitting around outside, taking in the great day... I was in the library. Yep. It was a slim crowd for awhile there, and let me just say I was booking it through some plants. It was great. Well then we had some ADPi stuff, I had to go to dinner, so it was later on when I was able to get back in the library. At this point, my zeal for learning had decreased. But anyway, I persevered. Around 2:30am, I was nowhere near done, so I figured I'd just stay in the library. 3:30 came, 4:30, 5:30... Finally at 6:00 I decided to go back to my room. Mainly because it was getting a little chilly in the library. I had taken a small nap on the back of my chair in the library, but at this point I had gotten little to no sleep. So I got in my room, pulled up my powerpoint, and still tried to take in as much information as possible. At some point I fell asleep for like 30 minutes, but around 9:30 I decided to get out of my bed and go take this test. It wasn't too bad. In fact, I ended up making an 80 on it! Which is pretty good!
But I got out of the test, came up to Blythe's room, and fell asleep in her chair. Now apparently, at some point I woke up and looked at her roommate and freaked out because I thought I had missed my test. She didn't know if I had or not, so she told me to go check my schedule, so I walked to my room and went back to Blythe's room and fell back asleep in her chair. Then, a little later, Blythe came in and woke me up. Again, I freaked out because I thought I had missed the test. Apparently I really do care about biology! Lesson learned from this experience is twofold: 1. Do not wait until the night before to study. and 2. Get sleep, or you will do weird things.
So that's pretty much it. All my recent stories lately involve the library or something. I need a new hobby. I'm just so excited about Spring Break! Like it really couldn't come at a better time. I have not one, not two, but three things of dirty clothes that I have been putting off washing. So Mom, if you read this, I will hopefully be sending those home with Anna on Friday :)
Hope everyone has a good rest of the week!
Peace and Love

Well Hey.

So its been awhile. As it usually is this time of the semester, my life is hectic! I am asking myself yet again why it is exactly that I am not only taking biology, but also chemistry. Whatever. I'm sure it will all work out, as it always does.
What an eventful few weeks it has been! We had out first event of the year for ADPi! Semiformal!! SO exciting!! Want to see a picture? Thought so.
This is my diamond family. They are precious! It has become a new thing this semester for us to have weekly family dinners as prepared by me. The past 2 weeks I have made some tasty creations: spanikopita and some tasty chicken pasta with a homemade tomato cream sauce. It has been a delicious couple of weeks if I do say so myself!

So the weekend after semiformal was KA's Convivium! I LOVE a good reason to get dressed up! Again, here's a picture!
These are all the ADPis that were there... it was a precious group!
So the day/night of Convivium... everything in my life was out of commission. Ok, so maybe I'm being a tad dramatic, but really. My phone quit working mid-day, just as I was trying to get all the plans under control for the night! But whatever, I texted people from Blythe's phone. Inconvenient? A little, but still doable! Well convivium came and was very fun! So afterwards I went back up to my room to change out of my formal dress into something a little more manageable for going out in! I decided to stop by the senior townhouses because I heard some people were going there before they went out to the house. Well, it would have been helpful to have a phone at this point to see if people were there or not, but I went on over there. There weren't any parking spots so I pulled into the grass. I went to the door and no one was there, so I went back to may car to go on to the house. It had been a rainy day in Clinton, SC. The ground was a little muddy. So I went to back up out of the grass and my car didn't move. At all. I tried going forwards and backwards. Nothing. My car was smoking because I was pressing the gas so hard. So this was great! No phone and a stuck car. So I got out of my car to go over to some other ADPi's townhouse and out of nowhere these 3 sketchy guys appeared! They asked if I needed help. I kindly refused and walked as fast as I could to the other townhouse. Anyway, this story goes on and on about my night sans car or phone. It was bad news! But I am happy to report that I now have a new phone as well as a freed car!
I can't think of much else to say right now. Oh, if you are an ADPi Eta Xi alum, keep your eyes open for the launch of a blog just for you in the very near future! Excited? You should be.
Oh, I have my interview on Wednesday to work at Lutheridge this summer! Yay!! Hopefully it will go well! I think I have camp counselor written all over me! Keep your fingers crossed!
