What an eventful few weeks it has been! We had out first event of the year for ADPi! Semiformal!! SO exciting!! Want to see a picture? Thought so.
This is my diamond family. They are precious! It has become a new thing this semester for us to have weekly family dinners as prepared by me. The past 2 weeks I have made some tasty creations: spanikopita and some tasty chicken pasta with a homemade tomato cream sauce. It has been a delicious couple of weeks if I do say so myself!
So the weekend after semiformal was KA's Convivium! I LOVE a good reason to get dressed up! Again, here's a picture!
These are all the ADPis that were there... it was a precious group!
So the day/night of Convivium... everything in my life was out of commission. Ok, so maybe I'm being a tad dramatic, but really. My phone quit working mid-day, just as I was trying to get all the plans under control for the night! But whatever, I texted people from Blythe's phone. Inconvenient? A little, but still doable! Well convivium came and was very fun! So afterwards I went back up to my room to change out of my formal dress into something a little more manageable for going out in! I decided to stop by the senior townhouses because I heard some people were going there before they went out to the house. Well, it would have been helpful to have a phone at this point to see if people were there or not, but I went on over there. There weren't any parking spots so I pulled into the grass. I went to the door and no one was there, so I went back to may car to go on to the house. It had been a rainy day in Clinton, SC. The ground was a little muddy. So I went to back up out of the grass and my car didn't move. At all. I tried going forwards and backwards. Nothing. My car was smoking because I was pressing the gas so hard. So this was great! No phone and a stuck car. So I got out of my car to go over to some other ADPi's townhouse and out of nowhere these 3 sketchy guys appeared! They asked if I needed help. I kindly refused and walked as fast as I could to the other townhouse. Anyway, this story goes on and on about my night sans car or phone. It was bad news! But I am happy to report that I now have a new phone as well as a freed car!
I can't think of much else to say right now. Oh, if you are an ADPi Eta Xi alum, keep your eyes open for the launch of a blog just for you in the very near future! Excited? You should be.
Oh, I have my interview on Wednesday to work at Lutheridge this summer! Yay!! Hopefully it will go well! I think I have camp counselor written all over me! Keep your fingers crossed!
